Utility assistance is available to Johnson County residents age 18 and older who meet the income guidelines of 200% or less of the federal poverty guidelines. Help may be available for past-due utility bills or if you are on a payment plan and unable to make a payment. A disconnect notice is not required.
Food assistance is available to Johnson County residents age 18 and older who meet the income guidelines of 200% or less of the federal poverty guidelines. Assistance is available at our Gardner, Lenexa and Mission offices.
The Disability Supports Program helps adults ages 18–59 who have a documented physical disability and live at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Services help individuals live independently and may include home-delivered meals, light housekeeping and case management.
